Since its apllication in October 2008, Bill 75, Loi modifiant le code des professions, has transformed some of the terms used to designate the governing instances of the Order.  These changes were brought upon the professional system so that profesional orders would have more commonly used terms to designate their governing instances.

On the Ordre des psychologues du Québec's website, the newest and current documents available are already using these new terms,  But, in the cases of older documents published prior du October 2008, the governing instances of the Order are designated under the old terminology.  The same applies to disciplinary cases, as the terms used are those used at the moment the complaint was made.

To help level out any difficulties, here are the different terms that have been changed since October 2008 :
