Allowed a Psychologist

In Quebec, the title of psychologist and the practice of the psychological profession are governed by the Professional Code. To use the title of psychologist, a person must be listed on the membership roll of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.

Certificate of neuropsychological assessment

Once Bill 21 is brought into force by regulation, psychologists who evaluate neuropsychological disorders will have to obtain in order an attestation of training from the Ordre des psychologues du Québec to practice this reserved activity.

Psychotherapist

Once Bill 21 is brought into force by regulation, the practice of psychotherapy will be a reserved activity. Only psychologists, physicians and professionals holding a psychotherapist license delivered by the Ordre des psychologues du Quebec will be allowed to practice this activity.
