The Syndic's Office is responsible for protecting the public. As such, it conducts inquiries when it receives information to the effect that a psychologist may have committed an offence against Quebec's Professional Code or the Code of ethics of psychologists.

The Syndic's Office also provides members of the Order and the public with information about the rules of professional conduct applicable specifically to the profession of psychologist.
