The board of directors of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec "shall exercise all the rights, powers and prerogatives of the order, except those within the competence of the members of the order in general meeting" (Professional Code, s. 62).
Composition
The board of directors consists of the president, elected by a general vote of the members of the Order, and of 24 directors, including 20 psychologists elected on a regional basis, and four persons appointed by the Office des professions du Québec to represent the public. The duration of the term served by the directors of the Order is set at three years. (Professional Code, s. 61, 66 and 78)
Meetings
The administrators of the board of directors meet at least once every three months, so at least four times each year. Every member of the Order can be present at those meetings, hence why the Order makes the calendar of meetings (in French) available.
