When the Syndic's Office informs, in writing, the person who requested the holding of an inquiry of its decision not to lodge a complaint with the Disciplinary Council, it must also notify the person that her or she may request an opinion from the Review Committee.
The Review Committee may conclude that there is no cause to lodge a complaint with the Disciplinary Council. Or, it may recommand that the syndic conduct a supplemental inquiry, or again, refer the case to the Professional Inspection Committee. If, however, the Review Committee, in the opinion it renders, concludes that there is cause to lodge a complaint, it may suggest the name of a person who could act in the capacity of syndic to lodge the complaint.
