Review Committee

If the Syndic's Office decides not to lodge a complaint with the Disciplinary Council following the request for an inquiry, it must inform the requester in writing and notify the requester of his or her right to request an opinion from the Review Committee.

The Review Committee may conclude that there is no cause to lodge a complaint with the Disciplinary Council. Alternatively, it may recommend that the syndic conduct a supplemental inquiry, or refer the case to the Professional Inspection Committee. If, however, it finds that that there is cause to lodge a complaint, it may suggest the name of a person who could act in the capacity of syndic to lodge the complaint.
