Au fil du temps in the medias

Since 2024, the Ordre des psychologues du Québec has been promoting Au fil du temps through various publications and online platforms.

Au fil du temps is an initiative of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec aimed at promoting a better understanding of brain aging and fostering compassion toward seniors. It is partially funded by Quebec’s Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux as part of its Action Plan for Informal Caregivers (2021-2026).


Participation in public events

The Ordre has participated in about a dozen events for the public related to Au fil du temps, including roundtable discussions, seniors’ fairs and forums on informal caregiving. These events have brought together hundreds of people, providing an ideal opportunity to raise awareness about the initiative and exchange ideas about brain aging and the realities faced by informal caregivers.


Verdict Santé

Building on its magazine Protégez-Vous and other titles, the publisher Éditions Protégez-Vous launched Verdict Santé—a platform dedicated to health, well-being and nutrition that now reaches approximately 450,000 people in 2024 through its digital content.

The Ordre seized this opportunity to increase its visibility by publishing six articles on neurocognitive disorders and informal caregivers on this platform. Some of these articles were also shared on social media, including on the Éditions Protégez-vous LinkedIn page.


Libraries

In March 2025, over 70,000 bookmarks featuring the Au fil du temps name and logo were distributed to approximately 935 libraries across the province.

Print advertising campaign

The Ordre promoted the Au fil du temps platform through both traditional advertising and partner content—stories crafted in the magazine’s style by their editorial team under the Ordre’s guidance and approval.

Examples include an article on neurocognitive disorders in the March 8, 2025 issue of Le Devoir, one on caregiver guilt in the March 20, 2025 issue of Véro magazine, and one on Au fil du temps in the April 4, 2025 issue of L’actualité magazine.


Web advertising campaign

Web banners enabled visitors to certain websites to access the Au fil du temps platform with a single click. This was the case on Radio-Canada, La Presse, Le Devoir and various Québécor media sites. The digital campaign also included the purchase of keywords on Google Ads and banners on Meta platforms.
